Hello, I work as a health manager at a manufacturing workplace.
I submit a monthly health management report to the factory manager and the executive in charge of safety and health every month, and the number of health consultations is always included.
Until now, I used to record the number of people by disease in Excelโsuch as hypertension, diabetes, and musculoskeletal conditionsโand upload it after dividing it by department.
But recently, in a team of three, the team leader immediately recognized who it was when they saw "1 person with high blood pressure" listed in the report.
It wasn't conveyed to the person directly, but I felt a bit of a bummer.
So, starting next month, I am considering omitting the disease name and reporting only by management type, such as "Continuous Management," "Follow-up," or "Referral to External Medical Institutions."
The executives said that they need figures by disease to plan next year's health promotion program, so I'm wondering how much I can exclude.
I'm also confused about whether I should remove the departmental distinctions entirely, or if I just need to combine the departments with fewer employees.
Also, the original counseling log contains details such as the diagnosis and blood pressure readings; I am wondering if it is correct to keep this only in the school infirmary and manage it completely separately from the reports.
I would appreciate it if you could share how other companies group and submit health consultation results when reporting them to management.
