Do fixed-term employees who resigned in June and rejoined in July need to be retrained upon hiring?

Hello, I am the person in charge of HR and safety training at the logistics center.
We tend to hire a lot of fixed-term staff during peak seasons, but I am asking for your advice because a somewhat ambiguous situation has arisen this time.
An employee who resigned at the end of June after their contract ended joined again in mid-July on a fixed-term basis. The work is the exact same as beforeโ€”picking and shippingโ€”and the work location is also the same.
I received hiring training when I first joined and the training log is still there, but since I returned less than a month later, I'm not sure if this should be considered a new hire and if I need to go over the training from scratch.
The site staff are asking if I really have to go through the process again when I'm someone who used to do the same work, and I'm worried it might cause problems if there isn't a record when an inspection comes.
Also, there are employees whose contracts are renewed immediately without any gaps after they end, and I am confused whether new training is required every time they are renewed in these cases as well.
I think I heard that the training time can be reduced for experienced candidates with the same work, but I am also curious about the exact criteria for that.
I would appreciate it if you could share how other companies handle training for returning employees or those renewing their contracts, and where you verify and record their previous training history.
