How detailed are your records of employee interviews?
I have a question regarding employee interview records.
You know how sometimes employees share quite a lot of personal stories during grievance counseling or health-related consultations...!
However, if I write down the interview details too thoroughly, I think it might be a burden regarding the record-keeping later, but on the other hand, if I leave it too brief, it seems like it will be difficult to verify what was discussed.
For example, I'm wondering if it's right to just leave a note like "Complained of work burden, additional meeting scheduled," or if I should also include the actual remarks or specific details of the situation.
I am especially careful when sensitive content, such as workplace harassment or health issues, is involved....
To what extent do other companies keep records of employee interviews?
Would it be better to write it simply enough so that I can check it later?
