What should I prepare first when starting a risk assessment?
Hello. The HR team is preparing work related to risk assessment together with the Safety and Health Manager.
Our company plans to conduct risk assessments systematically starting this year, but we are at a loss as to where to begin.
I am debating whether I should first organize hazardous and dangerous factors by workplace, or if I should first assign personnel to each department and create evaluation form templates.
Although some safety and health-related data exists, it is not actually organized in accordance with risk assessment procedures.
I am also wondering if small businesses are required to keep evaluation sheets and records of improvement measures at the same level.
If a company is starting a risk assessment for the first time, what are the priority items that HR or safety and health managers should check?
Which should I prepare first: a checklist, departmental interviews, or records of corrective actions?
