I have a question regarding the storage of meeting minutes or improvement action data related to safety and health.
The safety and health department manages meeting minutes separately, but I am confused whether the HR team should also receive and keep related materials.
Since data verification regarding serious accidents or the Occupational Safety and Health Act might be necessary later, it seems that HR should also have some knowledge of the matter.
However, if I receive everything including meeting minutes, details of corrective actions, and training materials, I think the scope of management will become too broad.
I am wondering if it is acceptable for the safety and health manager to keep the originals in practice, while the HR team manages only training or personnel-related materials separately.
Do other companies have HR also keep records of safety and health meeting minutes or corrective action data?
Or do you operate by having the responsible department manage it exclusively and sharing resources only when necessary?
