May the team leader share the EAP guidelines again in the team messenger room?
Hello. I am in charge of employee benefits and EAP operations at a company with approximately 300 employees.
Due to the recent low usage rate of EAP, we have re-provided instructions via company-wide email and the internal bulletin board. Some team leaders have suggested sharing the guidelines in their team messenger rooms as well, but I am concerned that employees might feel burdened if the team leaders deliver them directly.
In particular, if you provide guidance only to teams where employees seem to be struggling, or add, โPlease make sure to apply if you need it,โ it might be perceived as if you have specific employees in mind.
We are currently reviewing a system where the same notice is distributed to all teams, and team leaders do not check whether a consultation request has been made.
Do other companies also require team leaders to resend EAP guidelines? I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there are phrases team leaders can add or expressions they should avoid.
