What indicators should I look at if there are repeated no-shows or same-day cancellations for EAP consultations?
Hello, I am in charge of EAP.
Recently, the number of consultation bookings itself has been steady, but no-shows and same-day cancellations have been increasing slightly.
At first, I thought it was because it was a busy time for users, but since this has been repeating similarly for several months, I am wondering if it is okay to rely solely on the no-show rate.
Right now, I'm only looking at the total number of bookings, actual consultations, and cancellations.
Should I also look separately to see if no-shows are frequent during specific time periods or due to certain consultation methods?
Also, I don't think same-day cancellations and advance cancellations should be counted as the same type of cancellation.
From the counselor's perspective, there is the issue of empty reservation slots, and from the employee's perspective, since reservations are not being fulfilled in the actual service, it seems we need to investigate the operational reasons.
What metrics do other companies check first when no-shows or cancellations increase?
I am curious if you also consider factors such as the time it takes from booking to consultation and the rebooking rate.
