What criteria do you compare when assigning counselors in an EAP proposal?
Hello, this is the person in charge preparing to re-select an EAP provider.
I am reviewing proposals from several companies, but the number of counselors and qualification criteria are all listed similarly, so it is unclear which criteria I should actually use to compare them.
Some companies emphasize having a large pool of counselors, while others emphasize the ratio of Level 1 counselors or the number of counseling centers by region.
I think it is more important how quickly a suitable counselor is assigned when an actual employee requests a consultation.
In addition to counselor qualifications, I think we should also check if matching is done by reflecting conditions such as gender, counseling topic, region, and preference for face-to-face or non-face-to-face sessions.
I am also curious about how easy it is to change counselors if they don't match my preferences.
When evaluating proposals, what should I look for to verify the actual quality of assignments, beyond just numbers like the number of counselors employed?
