Is it acceptable to indicate only the time on the health manager consultation appointment schedule without the reason for the consultation?
Hello, I am in charge of health management at the workplace.
Currently, when employees request a consultation with the health manager, we manage it by recording their name, appointment time, and a brief reason for the consultation on a schedule.
The problem is that colleagues on the same team or other staff members often need to look at the reservation slip to check the schedule, so I wondered if it was right to write down the reason for the consultation as well.
For example, if it is written as 'headache consultation,' 'sleep problems,' or 'health checkup results consultation,' I can get a sense of the employee's health condition just by looking at the appointment schedule.
So, on the reservation slip used for general purposes, only the name, employee number, and time are displayed.
We plan to change the system so that the specific reasons for counseling and the content of counseling are managed separately by the health manager.
I am wondering if it is acceptable to manage reservation information and actual consultation records separately like this, or if it would actually be better to manage them with just a reservation number, without even showing the name.
To what extent do you display information on your public schedule at the places where you operate health counseling?
